Colin Christensen is a licensed, independent health insurance broker in Colorado with seven years in the industry. He started his career as a captive agent, meaning he could only offer products from one company, and quickly grew frustrated watching people get steered toward the only options he had, even when they weren't the best fit. That experience is what led him to go independent, so he could work across multiple companies and help people find coverage based on what actually makes sense for them.
Colin believes in education, not sales pressure. His job isn't to convince you to buy a particular plan. It's to help you understand your options, explain how your coverage actually works, and help you land on a decision that fits your life.
He'll be the first to admit that health insurance isn't exactly fun to deal with. It can be confusing, frustrating, and expensive. But he's seen firsthand how much of a difference it makes when people understand what they have and how to use it, before they need it rather than after.
Colin works alongside our clinicians as the insurance side of your care team. No pressure, no one-size-fits-all pitch, just honest guidance and coverage that makes sense for you.

Colin can help you understand a bill and point you toward the right next step. Most billing issues ultimately need to go through your carrier directly, and Colin will help you get there quickly instead of leaving you to figure it out alone.
Claims Support
How hands-on Colin can be depends on your type of coverage. For private plans and health shares, he can be closely involved. He knows how to escalate issues and has direct access to resources at Medical Mutual and the health share organizations. For ACA marketplace coverage, he'll help you find the right phone numbers and understand where to go, though his ability to influence the claims process itself is more limited there. Either way, you'll always know exactly where you stand and what your options are.
